GrabMore Digital Gift Card and Checkout Disclosures

Last Updated: July 15, 2026

This page states the minimum information that must appear before purchase, on the electronic Digital Gift Card, and on the receipt. Merchant campaign terms may add restrictions but may not contradict these requirements or applicable law.

1. Standard checkout disclosure

Display the following immediately before the customer submits payment:

Digital Gift Card issued by [FULL MERCHANT LEGAL OR TRADE NAME].
Face value: $[FACE VALUE]
Price today: $[AMOUNT PAID]
Valid at: [PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS / ONLINE CHANNEL]
Activation: May take up to 2 hours after purchase.
Expiration and fees: Purchased value does not expire and has no dormancy or maintenance fees.
Redemption restrictions: [MATERIAL RESTRICTIONS OR "NONE OTHER THAN THE STANDARD TERMS"]
Cash redemption: Not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Refunds: The purchaser may request a refund within 3 calendar days if no portion has been redeemed. The maximum refund is the amount paid, not the face value.
Payment path: [MERCHANT DIRECT PROCESSING / GRABMORE MANAGED COLLECTION].
The Merchant is the issuer and is responsible for honoring the full available balance.

2. Required consumer checkbox

Use an unchecked checkbox directly above the purchase button:

I agree to the GrabMore Customer Terms, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Digital Gift Card terms shown above. I understand that [MERCHANT NAME] is the issuer and is responsible for honoring the Digital Gift Card.

Link each policy name to the applicable version. Record the policy versions accepted.

3. Payment-path wording

Merchant Direct Processing

Payment is processed in [MERCHANT NAME]'s connected [PROCESSOR NAME] account. [MERCHANT NAME] is the merchant of record and controls processor-level refunds and disputes.

GrabMore Managed Collection

[MERCHANT NAME] has appointed GrabMore as its limited payment collection agent for this sale. The payment processor accepts your payment for [MERCHANT NAME]. [MERCHANT NAME] remains the issuer, seller, and primary obligor of the Digital Gift Card.

Do not state that GrabMore is licensed, exempt from licensing, a bank, or an escrow provider.

4. Electronic Digital Gift Card display

The Digital Gift Card must display:

Recommended card wording:

Issued by [MERCHANT NAME]. Usable only with the issuing Merchant at the participating locations shown. Purchased value does not expire and has no dormancy or maintenance fees. Not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Treat this code like cash and do not share it publicly. Support: admin@grabmoreusa.com.

5. Receipt requirements

The receipt must include:

6. Discounted purchased card example

For a $50 Digital Gift Card sold for $40, display:

Face value: $50. Price today: $40. The full $50 purchased value does not expire. If eligible for a refund, the maximum refund is the $40 amount paid.

Do not label the $10 difference as an expiring promotional bonus.

7. Separate free promotional card

A genuinely free promotional or loyalty card must be separately identified from purchased value. Where legally permitted, use wording similar to:

PROMOTIONAL DIGITAL CARD. No separate purchase price was paid for this card. Promotional value expires on [DATE]. No cash value. See promotional terms.

The promotional nature and expiration date must be conspicuous before issuance and on the card. Do not combine purchased and promotional value into one balance unless the system can correctly preserve the non-expiring purchased value and apply legally compliant redemption ordering.

8. Material restrictions that require advance disclosure

Disclose before purchase any restriction involving:

9. Campaign publication control

GrabMore should prevent a campaign from going live until required fields are completed and should store a snapshot of the checkout disclosure, Merchant approval, and policy versions.
